DIRECT CLIENT NEED. Client is seeking an experienced, hands-on Systems Administrator to handle our IT Infrastructure Administration and Security compliance requirements. This individual must be autonomous as well ready to learn and expand hisher technology knowledge. The Systems Administrator is responsible for implementation of IT related projects, managing IT security audits and overseeing our organization s compliance requirements. 3 months contract role with possibility of extension. Newton, MA Phone and onsite interview is required. IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL BE LOCAL TO MA. Administration Manage hosted infrastructure in physical and cloud environments. Manage local office infrastructure including servers, LAN and wireless networks Manage Active Directory Domains Manage support of call center phone and system needs Implement planned IT infrastructure changes and upgrades Prioritize work efforts, multi-task in a very fast-paced environment, and provide timely and clear Provide End-User support where needed as cooperation with the IT infrastructure team updates Provide support when needed in other Infrastructure administration areas such as Coordinate and execute annual Disaster Recovery test Coordinate and perform monthly patching of servers in all environments Update IT Policy and Procedure documents, Business Continuity Plan documents annually Create SOPs for task repeatability and documentation The Systems Administrator role is an all-encompassing IT role that requires supporting any areas of IT within the company Security Compliance Having these skills would be plus. Analyze Security technology trends and develop infrastructure strategy, architecture, and delivery processes designed for agility and cost effectiveness. Current focus is on cloud hosting and physical data center security, while maintaining compliance and integrity of PCIPIIHIPAA data. Manage, oversee and coordinate IT audits including, but not limited to PCI, SOC1, HIPAA, CMR Lead the management and upgrade of effective and reasonable policies and procedures to secure protected and sensitive data, including PCIPII, and ensure information security and compliance with relevant legislation and legal interpretation. Work with external auditors to proactively remediate any gaps and ensure on-going compliance with appropriate certifications. Respond to on-going client security reviews. Complete annual security questionnaires Vendor Management On-going management of relationships with key vendors managed hosting, outsourced DBA services, Voice over IP and data provider, third-party auditors etc. Assessing on-going renewal, re-negotiation of contracts depending on strategic objectives. C. Education, Experience and Certifications Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, information technology or other related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered. A Master degree is a plus. 5+ years of IT infrastructure support and experience in a fast paced professional environment Microsoft certification is a plus Network certification is a plus D. Qualifications Skills Experience in managing Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008, Windows Desktop OS Experience in managing LAN and wireless network Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, Remote Desktop, Terminal Services, Firewall, TCPIP, IIS, Certificate Services Experience in Active Directory, Exchange, Skype for Business Able to construct and assess high-level and detailed security programs translating business needs and regulatory requirements into cost effective and risk appropriate controls. Demonstrates extensive knowledge of information security standards and compliances PCI-DSS, PII, HIPAA, and SSAE-16. CISSP, CISA, CISM or equivalent Certifications in Security are a plus. Prior administrative knowledge of Windows 2K8, 2K12, Microsoft Exchange, MS SQL Server 2008, MS SQL Server 2012. Strong project management skills to lead multiple streams of work. Experience in end user support and strong customer oriented mindset Ability to work independently without intensive oversight - must be a go-getter and take initiative on a regular basis finding ways to avoid problems proactively Excellent communication skills
